Description

Celebrate George Washington’s 289th birthday at his boyhood home with fun activities for the whole family! Guests will be invited to several educational stations throughout the Ferry Farm property. They will engage with Archaeologists, Curators, Historians, and other experts as they learn about Ferry Farm, the Washington Family, and the enslaved people who lived here. “George Washington” will be on hand to celebrate his birthday. There will also be the annual stone throwing contest throughout the day as well as cupcakes while supplies last. Guests will be asked to maintain social distancing and masks will be required.
